I do this. I would also recommend have multiple resumes tailored to a specific industry. So if you’re a data analyst, one for like energy companies, general business corporations, sports business, retail corporate, etc etc. all you need is a good base resume and modify from there.

This is literally how I found a six figure job on LinkedIn. The downside it’s a contracting position but I’ve now been with the company over two years. They went from renewing my contract every six months to yearly.
