it wasn’t racism but I was bullied for being white in middle school, i was nicknamed Casper by my classmates, often mistaken for albino, and kids would come up to me with saltine crackers and put them up to my skin and say the cracker was darker or say my white shoes were darker than me ^_^ so yes it does happen
