spoiler and plot twist it was Alex Mercer it's confusing but before the virus took control of him he was a scientist who created that virus and released it after he was kia by the guards but the virus consumed Alex Mercer body creating another person inside Alex Mercer's body, the body, the name is the same but there were two separate people in one body
