@hollydoes20s: Building financial literacy from scratch: a very detailed & chronological breakdown 🌺📈 I started at 19, and now 3 years on (and still a student) have 23k invested in the stock market. It sounds crazy but I promise it is wayyy more possible than you think 🫶 #financialliteracyforbeginners #getbetterwithmoney #moneytips #SelfImprovement #thatgirllifestyle

There are loads of similarities between money habits and weight loss habits. One of the biggest issues that people have when they’re trying to lose weight is that they get to their target weight and either stop and gently go back up or aren’t satisfied when they hit their target. If we stop thinking about money as just a goal and more of a habit, I think more people will have a better relationship with their money long-term. The flipside to this is that there are many pension millionaires who have all this money and have built their wealth on frugal habits and now their advisors are struggling to convince them to spend it all 😂 however I think having more money than you need is much better than the alternative so building habits that you can stick to in the long-term are crucial to not having to worry about money in my opinion.
