In Belgium, overall cash payment are limited to €3.000,00. If you want to withdraw big amount, you need to give your bank a reason or they will notify tax department as suspicious transaction. If you do this consecutive, your bank will ask you to move your account elsewhere.

In France is the same. For 10k cash I had to call the bank 2 weeks in advance and see if they approve it.

This is not a joke, continental Banking is levels down. That said, my experience was France. How dare you start your business and collect revenue when the business account is not ready (144 business days) 😡. 😂

I understand banks don't carry a lot of cash but 10k is nothing to them. our ATM default is 2k a day and that can be adjusted on the banking app upwards to 9k and that is the daily limit.
