Under Locard’s Exchange Principle, one of the foundational concepts in forensic science, every physical contact leaves a trace. That includes cosmetic glitter, which transfers during close contact, persists on skin and clothing, and is nearly impossible for a perpetrator to know they have left behind. The UK Forensic Science Regulator’s guidance on sexual assault examinations (FSR-G-212) acknowledges the collection of “other trace evidence” alongside DNA during forensic medical examinations. Chicas salgan siempre con su glitter y recomienden marcas. Yo les recomiendo el glitter en barra, tiene mejor fijación que el polvo de hadas, y lo cargo para retocar como un labial.
