Hot take: if you have to read a separate series even though it does intertwine, for the story to make sense, the author isn’t good enough at writing. I fully believe SJM is so talented that you will not NEED to read CC in order to understand ACOTAR 6. Does it add to the story? Sure of course, but required? No way

I finished the throne of glass series in March I finished ACOTAR March of 2025 I’m just trying to buck up the courage to do crescent city cause I have so many other books I want to read but was told I have to read crescent city before ACOTAR 6 😫

For those struggling reading Crescent City, switching to listening to the dramatized audio book really helped me. I struggled keeping people straight and the voice actors helped a lot! 🥰
