@techserks: Claude Code — Anthropic's AI coding agent that lives in your terminal — runs natively on Windows now. No WSL needed. Here's the whole setup, swipe by swipe Before you start: - Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) — any modern PC, no GPU - A paid Claude plan — Pro ($20/mo) or Max (there's no free tier for Claude Code) - Git for Windows (we install it in step 1) - ~10 minutes, mostly downloads The steps (all in the carousel): 1. Install Git for Windows from git-scm.com — keep "Add Git to PATH" ticked 2. Open PowerShell and run: irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex 3. Close & reopen PowerShell, then check: claude --version 4. cd into your project folder 5. Run claude and sign in through your browser 6. Ask it something in plain English — "summarise this project" — and you're off A few gotchas (slide 9): if "claude is not recognised", reopen the terminal so your PATH updates; if the sign-in page doesn't open, check your pop-up blocker; and if you're stuck, claude doctor checks your setup and points at the fix.
