@casabolanos: No, not because it’s “cheap” If you’re thinking of leaving the U.S., let me deinfluence you for a second Many people make the move from the U.S. to Europe thinking it’s an upgrade, until you realize the time difference sucks, the euro is high, and you need all new appliances because the outlets are completely different Why did we move to Latinoamérica? 👇 🔌 ⏰ same outlets and voltage (unless you’re in Argentina and Uruguay) and a general time difference of 1-2 hours if you were east coast based, like us. Not a 6+ hour difference! 🍍🥭 fresh fruit that is hard to find or super expensive in Europe! Can you imagine paying €6+ for piña? I can’t! 🚆 cities like CDMX, Buenos Aires, Medellín + more having transit systems that means less car reliance, like in Europe 🇨🇺🇨🇴 we’re Latino! I’m Cuban and my husband is Colombia, so it makes sense we’d want to raise our kids in their roots No, we didn’t move here because it’s “cheap” because the reality is, for who?
