This show feels so much like the first season of Adventure Time. IDK what you’re talking about when you say this is meant for a more “younger” audience than the original when the OG adventure Time fans were all in elementary school when they first started watching.

Tbh, idk what they could reference in the show to not interfere with the show too much but it’s Adventure Time (top 3 shows oat) so there’s not much they can do to stop me from liking it

I feel like if there was any two characters who should’ve gotten a prequel series it should’ve been Simon and Marcy focusing on them and their adventures after the mushroom bomb hit, but that’s just my personal opinion and what I would’ve wanted out of an adventure time prequel
