Absolutely this is true. People will hate you more because you're of the same race, family, group of friends, classroom, parents, neighborhood, social class at birth, workplace, and so many others. It's much easier to succeed if you move away to a new place where you have no history, away from friends, family ,and peers.

I get it.💯 Groups have a collective belief of its members and how far they should be able to go. Then there are added layers(i.e. gender, age, attractiveness, etc) that "should" also be barriers for you. So when you "make it", it's uncomfortable.
