Kids asking 47 questions. Laptop open. Slack/email/DMs somehow all needing an answer. One tab for work. One tab for the recipe. One tab you opened 3 hours ago and now can’t remember why. And if you have ADD or ADHD, the mental gymnastics are even louder. Because you’re not just “working from home.” You’re context-switching between founder, parent, marketer, customer service, content creator, operations manager, dinner maker, calendar keeper, and the person who still has to remember whether anyone has clean socks tomorrow. This is why I’m so obsessed with AI workflows for solo founders. Not because I think AI should replace people. Because when you’re running a business by yourself, you need leverage before you can afford help. You need systems that follow up with leads when you’re making dinner. You need content workflows that don’t require you to start from scratch every day. You need automations that catch the repetitive work before it eats your entire week. You need AI to act like the first layer of support in your business so you can stop being the bottleneck for every single thing. The goal is not to become a robot. The goal is to finally stop operating like every task requires your full human brain at the exact same time. Solo founders do not need more “just be consistent” advice. They need actual systems. They need simple AI workflows. They need repeatable processes. They need to know what to automate first, what is worth paying for, and what is just another shiny tool pretending to be a strategy.
