3x+2y=22…….(1). And 2x+y=13……(.2), make y the subject in equation 2, y=13-2x…(.3), put equation( 3) into equation 1. 3x+2y=22, 3x+2(13-2x)=22, 3x+26-4x=22,4x-3x=26-22, x=4, hence x =4 ,y=13-2x, y=13-2(4), y=13-8, y =5, Proof: from equation1.3x+2y=22, 3(4)+2(5)=22, 12+10=22 🥰🥰😁. Hence x=4 and y=5
