this is not true at all. it has nothing to do with ai. ai only made some processes more streamlined. people cannot afford anything, thus less business at stores. people are not paid enough thus work less efficient. businesses are not focusing on people and instead profit. it has nothing to do with ai vs no ai. it's all economics. and the economics will suffer when kess people can find work, are paid less when working, paying more to live, and the small businesses dont get government aid/subsidies like the super rich (like sobeys) get. ai isnt efficient wbough to make that difference. there some correlation, no causation.
