Dolly Parton had used the profits of the cover to rebuild part of a historically African American neighbourhood in Nashville, Tennessee, naming one building "The House that Whitney Built" Jackée Harry shares the story of a time when people assumed Dolly Parton was jealous of Whitney Houston for covering her song. "I Will Always Love You." Jackée also talked about seeing a very young Whitney Houston sing backup for her mom. She also mentions that she was the one who actually introduced Whitney to Eddie Murphy and Bobby Brown after the premiere of "Harlem Nights," and introduction which ultimately led to Whitney's downfall and sad passing.
