@jackie.horse.sanc: Another one 💔 We just got the call... She was dumped in the bush. Old. Tired. Forgotten. Severe wounds all over her body. Skin hanging, flies, infection everywhere. She can stand, but she can’t walk well. Each step is agony. We couldn’t leave her there to die alone. She’s at the sanctuary now. Safe. But “safe” doesn’t mean “healed”. Vet came today. Wounds need daily cleaning, antibiotics, pain meds, bandages. She’s old — recovery will be slow and expensive. Vet bills are already stacking up and we’ve barely started. We’ve done this for many horses . We know it’s possible. But we can’t do it alone.
