4 years and it hurts as much as day 1. I am learning to live with the pain. Yes I still hold on to the moments of joy in my life. Loss of a child is like no grief I've ever experienced. Every other parent I've talked to says the same thing. Grab onto the moments of joy. The bleeding hole in my heart will never heal. I'll keep on keeping on.
