A few more questions I didn’t get to: - Joist tape? We didn’t use joist tape, just a personal preference but nothing wrong with using it - Can you show how to build the frame? Yes, I am building a smaller deck at our house as soon as I can get to it and that will need a frame so I’ll show you how I do that - What kind of composite decking is this? This one is from a brand called Trex and I ordered through Home Depot. There are other brands at Home Depot, but since my nephew is a Trex installer, I felt most confident he knew this material best - Is there a warranty on composite decking? For this one, there’s a warranty on the product as long as it is installed correctly. So if it starts to discolor or anything like that, they would replace it. - Can you come build mine? My wife says no but like I said in the video, my nephew helped me build this and he has a business in the Northern California area - Nidever Construction - so feel free to reach out to him if you’re in the area

That composite wood is awesome! My mom’s rebuilt the front oorch with it and it’s steady as a rock. We’re thinking of rebuilding the back deck the same way

So I have an issue with a piece of the trex I can’t get to drill into the frame - whoever made the frame has two boards with cement between the two boards - please help ! We don’t know what to do !
