Okay now this is something I do feel the need to say. When talking about the patriarchy and white women say "and who set that system up" to black men i feel like its very ironic because white women did indeed have more to do with the setup of the patriarchy then black men. Now do black men currently benefit from the patriarchy yes. But we cannot act as if the gender based oppression of white women somehow trumps the race based oppression of black men when white women have been getting black men killed for decades
