We drove all the way around San Juan Island without feeling rushed and still had plenty of time to stop whenever something caught our attention. In fact, some of our favorite moments weren’t even part of the plan. We discovered several art galleries along the way, stopped at four of them, browsed a local farm store, and still completed the entire route before sunset. That’s what I loved most about San Juan Island: it’s small enough to explore in a day, but full of unexpected places that make you want to pull over and stay a little longer. 💡 Tip: Bring binoculars to Lime Kiln State Park.
