@jackie.horse.sanc: I don’t know how to say this without breaking down 💔 She collapsed. We found her in the bush yesterday — old, dumped, wounds everywhere. We brought her to Gentle Spirits Horse Rescue thinking we could stabilize her here. Vet came. We cleaned. We treated. We prayed. But tonight she went down. Her body gave out. Severe wound at the hips, infection deep, fever burning. She’s seriously sick. Then she lifted her head. Looked at us. She’s still fighting. After everything humans did to her, she’s STILL fighting. The vet is here now at the sanctuary, doing everything he can. But he’s looking at us like... “she needs more.” She needs a veterinary hospital. X-rays, IV fluids, stronger antibiotics, 24hr care. Things we can’t do here. To carry her there = transport costs. Hospital stay = hundreds per day. Treatment = thousands. We don’t have it. We never have it. We just say yes and figure it out later because saying no means she dies. So I’m begging you. This breaks my heart she has the will to live but her poor body has been broken down so many time's by humans they are over powering her will to live but she is not giving up please if there is anyway we can help her please have a good heart even if we don't have money please please pray for her prayers can do miracles please don't give up on her like who ever had her before and dumped her in the bushes to die Angel's found her and got her to the right people to help but only so much can be done to help her without proper medical and meds to give this poor babe a full recovery so can we pray that this special help will come to save her we know her Angel's are close by.
