Can we take a moment to recognize that Fidan just had surgery. It’s already being processed by insurance, and has what appears to be complete transparency on the bill. This is one of the many amazing things about universal healthcare care in Australia. To live in a country where you are cared for. I can only imagine. You are opening eyes, hearts, and minds, Fidan. Make sure you send through to Medicare both your surgeon fees & a seperate claim for your anaesthetist fees! I was told you only can claim for your surgeon and I got about $1100 back from that but someone else told me to claim the anaesthetist so I did and randomly got another $1100!

I’m 5’0 and my breast are a F. I have my first consultation next week. I’m sooo nervous. I’m nervous it’ll be denied. I always had bigger breast and the upper back pains, knots, migraines, etc…I cannot wait.

As a Canadian I’m confused why this wouldn’t have been covered through public healthcare, since it was causing back problems and therefore medically necessary. Here, much of that would have been covered… doesn’t Australia have a public system similar to ours? I thought they did but truthfully I don’t know!
