Alfie :
Honestly, I still can’t get over how funny it was, because it started off as one of those completely normal moments where absolutely nothing is supposed to happen, and then somehow it just turned into the biggest shambles imaginable. I was trying so hard to keep a straight face, but the second I looked at everyone else, I completely lost it. And then, as if things couldn’t possibly get any worse, someone made a comment that was so perfectly timed that I genuinely had to turn around because I was about two seconds away from crying with laughter. Everyone was going, “Stop, stop, I can’t breathe,” whilst obviously continuing to make it worse, which is always how these things go. Then someone tried to explain what had happened, but they were laughing so much that the story made absolutely no sense, which somehow made it even funnier. At this point, people were practically falling over, and I was just thinking, how on earth has this become such a massive situation? The funniest part is that none of us could even remember what started it anymore. It was just pure British chaos, the sort of thing you know you’ll still randomly bring up years later and immediately start laughing all over again.
