@wavinya_ndeti: The ongoing prosthetic limb programme at Machakos County Referral Hospital is transforming lives by restoring mobility, independence, dignity, and hope to persons living with limb loss. So far, 68 beneficiaries have received prosthetic limbs, including 58 from Machakos County and 10 from neighbouring counties, with a further 200 beneficiaries set to benefit in the next phase. We are committed to expanding access to these specialized services across the county by rolling out the programme to all Level 4 health facilities, ensuring that more residents can access care closer to their communities. This initiative is enabling beneficiaries to participate fully in social and economic activities while improving their quality of life.
