She spends much of her time curled up on her bed, trembling, unsure if the world is safe. But if you’re patient…you’ll see the real Tilly. One volunteer sat quietly with her, gently tossing treats and speaking softly. Little by little, Tilly inched closer. Soon she was taking treats from a hand, accepting gentle pets, then leaning into belly rubs and leg scratches. She didn’t rush—but she showed exactly who she is when someone gives her the time she needs. 💗 Tilly wants to trust. 💗 She wants to feel safe. 💗 She just needs someone willing to let her move at her own pace. She has done well around other dogs, preferring peaceful companionship over rough play, and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can finally learn that people can be kind.
