Before I even started typing this whole thing, una kong tanong sa sarili ko: May magagawa pa kaya akong long caption? Parang nasabi ko na lahat in the past 2 months haha. From my thesis post, to all the appreciation and celebratory posts. Then I realized, meron. Madami. Kasing dami ng natutunan ko from when I first stepped inside this university, to my last stroll inside UST as a college student. Kasing dami ng magagandang ala-alang dadalhin ko. Architecture school really is one hell of a ride, and if it isn’t sooo hard we all wouldn’t be so sentimental and expressive about it. Though sentimental naman talaga akong tao to start with hahaha. And the thing about hard things is that they create bonds forged in resilience, in grit, and in genuine love. Maybe you think I’m talking about friendships, if you are then you’re absolutely right. But I’m also talking about the relationship I now have with myself. I’ve always strived to try and do my best in everything really, lagi ko kasing iniisip, if you’re gonna do it anyway why not give it your all? But along the process of that pressure were things I didn’t see coming, good and bad. But navigating through those is exactly where growth is. The bulk of what we had to go through as UST Archi students has helped a lot in shaping me into the individual I am today, and I couldn’t be more grateful :) Di ko na to papahabain pa, may isa pa akong post for friends and family.
