I never see anyone talk about the Riftwar saga, might be nostalgia bias but it’s my all time favourite fantasy series

I always love when Tchaikovsky does Fantasy cause it’s very interesting to see a hard sci fi person step into another genre

The Helm of Midnight was a brilliant book, & honestly a complete story. I felt it kinda fell flat with the last in the series though

Oooh I found Legacy of Ash at a used book store all three for $15 and in good condition. Do you have a review for the first one?

Just finished the mad ship trilogy. I absolutely loved it. Don't expect to be thrilled right away....its an incredibly in depth character build and it pays off huge. Robin Hobb is a masterful story teller. Read all her stuff....it's all connected and yet so different. 🥰

I adore Tchaikovsky’s Tyrant Philosopher books and Tide Child is one of my absolute favorite trilogies! Jim Butcher’s Codex Alera books are almost never talked about but it’s my comfort series. Love them!

Underrated… the crane husband. A bit more magical realism than fantasy, but they’re sister genres

As always, you keep suggesting books I've been meaning to read forever 😅 thanks for the reminder. Not underrated I guess, but not talked about enough anymore: anything by Octavia Butler. Just finished Lilith's Brood and she is a master
