my Shinjuku hotel is quiet and about a 10 minute walk to shinjuku station! my favorite part is the airport limousine bus that takes me directly to and from either airport in Tokyo 🥰

Youre local so wont know , usually tourists will want to save time and shop more and be able to get back hotel to dump their shopping bag and get back to shopping again , unless we are those kind of tourists that visit often to japan then we will prefer quiet areas

I also really liked staying in Akasaka bc there were 2 train stations within a short walk from each other and in between those stations the streets were just amazingly beautiful. It was such a perfect mix of modern architexture and traditional small streets and also the Hie shrine. All within a 10 minute walking distance from the 2 stations. I absolutely loved staying there

We booked in Hatsudai in between Shinjuku and Shibuya. Bus stop is in front going to both sides. Subway is also 1 min walk. The place is quite and almost no people around but with lots of convenience stores and food shops. Perfect location

I think there is a big difference when you visit Tokyo for the first time and when you do it for second , third etc. as a first timer I think you should do all the tourist stuff you know? Many times they are tourists for a reason (I always think in my own city when I say this). Staying in shinjuku or shibuya makes things easier for first timers and also you really want to be in the busy full of stuff area (at least me that’s my opinion ☺️) If you visit Seville and don’t go to Catedral, Torre del Oro, Barrio Santa Cruz , Real Alcazar, and you stay far from the city center … I wouldn’t recommend it at all hahah .

Asakusa will always be my happy place. So fun to walk around at night, Don Quijote, ichiran and Sensoji Temple right down the road. Perfection.

Asakusa is real nice. I’d stayed there before, not on my most recent trip. My trip took me into Asakusa for a night and I found myself really happy to be back.
