works great..i use dry mix all the time...your not limited to short time to use it...and you can shape it to how you like...lightly spray fine mist on it. next day rock hard...excalent

I poured a 12x12 foot slab like this four years ago and have no cracks in it at all. I did break this pad into 1/4's when I did it. I have done many smaller pads like this with absolutely no problems at all.
