HOUSTON — A convicted drug trafficker has been sentenced after pleading guilty to shooting at Houston police officers during a 2022 traffic stop. Jimmy Caston Bryan, 25, was given two 75-year concurrent sentences for aggravated assault against a public servant. In May 2022, HPD officers J. Sallee and M.L McMurtry pulled Bryan over for a traffic stop in the 14300 block of the Gulf Freeway at Astoria Boulevard. Police later revealed the traffic stop was part of a narcotics investigation.
