Currently, 396 chapters of the manga have been published in Japan (the first 16 in Animal House, the remaining 380 in Young Animal). A separate publication comprises 42 tankōbon.[18] In November 2009, Comics-Art announced the acquisition of a license for the Russian edition of Berserk,[19] and the first volume was released on June 24, 2010.[20] After volume 7, publication was suspended.
