last I checked in order to be legally served a person has to confirm you are the person being served and hand you the paperwork, an email is not a person and does not confirm your identity

I mean if people are smart they will obviously boycott bricks and mini figs but Lego needs to suffer for this. even if they are directly affiliated; Lego is still somewhat tied to this via the general consensus assuming its Legos product, but Lego ABSOLUTELY would step in if they started suffering profit loss for this
