@georgeburnettgolf: Leaving your weight on the trail foot is one of the biggest killers of strike that I see. The earlier we can move pressure forward in the sequence, the easier it becomes to control low point, sequence the downswing correctly, and compress the golf ball more consistently. How to do the drill: → Start with your feet together. → Begin your backswing. → Step with your lead foot before you reach the top of the backswing. → Swing through to a full finish. This helps train the correct sequence and encourages pressure to move forward earlier in the downswing. Strike is a result of motion.
