@dr.b_veterinarian: HIGH-RISE SYNDROME One of the most surprising facts in veterinary medicine: cats that fall from higher floors may sometimes suffer fewer injuries than cats that fall from lower heights. Why? Once a cat has enough time to orient itself in midair, it can spread its legs and body like a parachute, increasing drag and slowing its descent. Cats falling from shorter distances often don't have enough time to do this. That doesn't mean high falls are safe. Cats can still suffer broken jaws, fractured limbs, collapsed lungs, internal injuries, and life-threatening trauma. Have you heard of High-Rise Syndrome before? 🐾#CapCut
