@matthewolivierx: Is this the most iconic still-life painting ever made? 🌻 Sunflowers, 1889 Vincent Van Gogh On view at Philadelphia Museum of Art This is the 7th Essay of the Philadelphia Museum of Art Manuscript, a major artwork by conceptual artist Matthew Olivier. The narrator reading the essay is a constructed voice - a mask, rendered through synthesis. The writing, the reading, and the thought are the artists own.
Holding on to the beauty even during winter. Such a beautiful heart that man had.

Not an euphemism (Di) :
I saw this in person a few years back and hadn’t realised until then that it glowed.

I feel like there is a time of sadness in the painting... if you look at the flowers, they're all in different stages of life - some bright and sunny, some starting to decay and brown and even one wilting and dying. It's almost as if he was describing his own life's story in this painting.

your description is pure poetry. I hadn't thought of the structural element or the missing of his friend.
please consider doing the relation between El greco and Picasso's d d'avignon (or just El greco if u prefer)

If you ever see this painting in person, remember this description. It’s spot on. It took my breath away with its movement and dimension. It’s hard to convey its beauty through a 2D medium.

Love this so much. I’ve only seen one of his paintings in person and it was Mulberry Tree. That painting looks alive. Thanks for being awesome 🥰🥰🥰

👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️A sharp twinge of sadness suddenly overcame me as I listened to your words and looked at this beautiful, vibrant painting. Who could have guessed that the painter’s bleak and miserable circumstances inspired the creation of such a warm and cheerful masterpiece? The soft background melody underscored the painting’s melancholy💔💔💔🥺🥺🥺
