The english word "vulgar", that refers to something crued or offensive, in portuguese it's written the same way, but in porruguese means common.

Anus is portuguese is very similar to english, except for that strange accent on the letter “a” - ânus. However both words (ânus and anos -year) are spoken in the same way, that means that they sound exactly the same. Strange language hum? 🤣🤣🤣

You're incorrect. "Ano(s)" is "year(s)", but we also have "ânus" which is "anus(es)". Also, I can tell you a hint to another "false friend": constipation/constipação. Have a nice day!

anos means years ânus means anus phonetically, they are nearly identical as well, so context is important. good luck to you. boa sorte
