as a born and raised bergenser, do NOT eat at the fish market! its way way way over priced! I sadly don't have any recommendations, but just don't eat there, its just so expensive!

I quit bothering with umbrellas during my 2019 visit, I think that was a very WINDY winter and it got turned inside right out and broke some of the metal ribs 😂 now I just wear a rain jacket with a hood and pull it up as needed.

As a native do NOT eat at the fish marked. It used to be for the locals. It's now a MASSIVE tourist trap. Go to restaurants like bryggeloftet, losjehagen etc and pay less for more.
