Yeah, this is missing a whole bunch. The police don’t do things just because we are going to find out there’s a lot more to this story. And typically if a police officer sees something or you say something, he’s not going to debate it right there where a fight will break out he will wait for other officers to secure the situation. If it turns out not being what he thought it was, he will then tell you. On the side of the road is not the place to play lawyer and I know my rights and what is your name and badge number. At the end of the day if you have no registration, they’re gonna search your vehicle anyway to classify property that is in the vehicle when it goes to the tow yard. My state the passenger does not have to give ID if they are not being suspected of a crime, but other states are different. Just do what they ask and life will be so much easier for everybody. Too many Roadside lawyers and I know my rights situations happening. All unnecessary.
