Ugh the idea of living for 2,000 here on Earth sounds like a miserable curse… poor John, he’s stronger than me if he really still is here. Also where is he? Does the gov. know? Or does God have him shielded and protected somehow?

Just to share my viewpoint, I don’t believe that John is still alive. But what’s interesting is that John actually did live to see Jesus return and to see the kingdom of God, please let me explain. Straight to the point ,the book of Revelation was written by John, and he describes end time prophecies ( visions ),which included Jesus return, and the kingdom of God that John personally experience;seeing hearing and feeling it all ,hence him writing down the book of revelations . So again, yes John did see Crist return and the kingdom of God.

I always thought the 2 witnesses were Moses representing the Law and Elijah representing the prophets. Because both of them were at the Mt of transfiguration

I had a dream many years ago that I was John the Baptist. I met up with Jesus outside the gated wall that surrounded Jerusalem(?) There was a stream nearby. Jesus told me to baptize him. I replied..No Lord..it is You who should baptize me. I dreamt that over 40 years ago..and still remember EVERY detail of that dream..I'm now 65.
