It’s so hard! My mum is a hoarder. She blamed me for so much I threw out, but it was crap that she hadn’t touched in years, it was covered in 2 inches of dust. I watch stuff creeping back in, it’s so frustrating. 🥺

I've just watched all your videos and just wanted to say congratulations to you all 🩷 My god how i can relate... I think I always knew that my dad liked to hold on to things "just in case"... he always had the garage filled to the door with a just little gap to walk through. When my mum died he really fell apart and the hoarding moved inside the house. It got so bad that I moved out at 16, but had to move back at 19... I knew he was still hoarding but I didn't expect what I moved back into. We had a really tough time clearing through everything, but we did it! He even sold the house and decided to join me living in Spain. He still has the need to keep things, so they get 3 months in the shed... if he fixes it, great! do we need it or can we donate? if its to sell, do it.. he's not keeping so much because he sees that he doesn't actually need everything.
