@southsudan24_: AWEIL — Interior Minister Aleu Ayieny Aleu has called on the people of Mading Aweil to distance themselves from the political activities of Garang Deng Aguer, citing his long-standing relationship with President Salva Kiir Mayardit. Speaking at a public rally in Aweil, Aleu said Garang's business success and wealth were largely achieved with the support of President Kiir. He claimed that the Home and Away facility in Juba was originally owned by President Kiir before being given to Garang, who later transferred it to Bol Mel. “Dear people of Mading Aweil, I urge you to distance yourselves from what Garang Deng Aguer is doing in relation to the government of President Salva Kiir,” Aleu told the gathering. He added that both President Kiir and Garang know each other well and appealed to residents not to follow Garang’s current political direction.
