Let’s clear the air on what beginner pole dance means. I will start by saying that beginner does not (necessarily) mean you started pole dance yesterday - that is basic. The beginner classes can take years depending on how often you are poledancing and how your fitness level is. Beginner does not mean effortless and also does not mean “anyone should be able to do it first try”. It is a skill that you are learning and it is only normal that you have to train to get any trick. Just because it’s hard for you, does not make it intermediate. This video is a Level 1+, meaning is the girls’s first classes in spinning, but they do have 2 Pole Dance Basic courses behind them, so they are doing pole dance since 2 months. They are still beginner, but at the same time they are able to hold themselves on the pole while spinning and doing tricks that for a person that started a week ago may seem hard and unachievable.
