@followchipper: I did something crazy... I SHAVED MY BEARD. 😭 Since I’m turning 40 this week, I figured I’d have a little fun and try something new. Summer is coming, after all, and apparently that means experimenting with my “coach daddy” mustache era. Y’all, I totally freaked out at the barber. I’ve had a beard for so long that seeing my actual face again felt deeply unsettling. Thankfully, a very handsome man nearby told me he’d just done the exact same thing and completely understood the panic. The most interesting part is how attached I’ve become to a version of myself. It’s just hair, but when you’ve looked a certain way for years, change can feel surprisingly vulnerable. That said, the beard will probably be back. Let’s not get carried away. This is an experiment, not a rebrand.
