So very true... I just delivered my father's eulogy 10 days ago... I spoke about how, although my father dropped out of high school after his freshman year, he was one of the smartest men I ever knew... He was creative and innovative and could literally fix anything that was placed in front of him... He had an engineers mind... He loved history and science and could speak on any subject brought up to him... Thank You for your wise words... They reminded me of my Dad on a day I was missing him...

This!❤️My 10 yr old grandson has been told by his teacher that he can't read. Only because he needs to move while he reads. He's been reading since he was very little. He reads very well while he's walking around or standing.

Thank you so much for that. I spent a lot of time telling this very thing to my 2 sons that struggled with dyslexia. They too were called dumb. It’s so sad really. I recently lost my job and I feel like this fill my heart. It applies to real life as well. I have been thinking about my next step is not much different then graduating high school and looking at your future through a different lens . Thank you for reminding me that I am creative and compassionate and that the world holds something special for all of us.

wise beyond your years! street smarts and book smart make a huge impact on who you become as a person. the system wants you book smart so you follow rules. street smarts make you a free thinker and problem solve out of the box. the Rockefeller system for school has huge impact on this.

Thank you for sharing your views. This helped me to pursue my plan to establish a leadership development org in my college. Our school has only education courses/programs but i see that most students have so much potential outside the academic pursuit. I want to build a system where all have the opportunity to become leaders not based only in intellegence. And we become educated not be because of our degrees but because we went through the process to gain knowledge and confidence to live our lives outside the school.
