The thing I wish everyone could grasp is that the context with which we exist cannot be escaped and that context is patriarchal control every single thing within our tangible lived experience as well as our conceptual experience was created under this influence there is nothing else it is up to us to create something more and in order to do that we have to remove ourselves from the context fully which is why I created something that allows us to start doing that but I love neglect I love the way that neglect from other people lends itself to the requirement of neglecting yourself it’s a massive motherfucking pain in the ass.

you're so right and social conditioning is really super counterproductive to hookups and relationships. for example i really have an issue with men being encouraged to cheat and women being encouraged to be asexual and docile when not getting railed by a man 🙄 not just because i'm feminist but because those personalities/roles are not exclusive to either. as a man i have no desire to cheat when i'm in a relationship and i have also been cheated on by a woman. its unfair that we have to hide our true selves to meet "gender expectations" — i would prefer a woman who is in touch with her sexuality who can tell me ahead of time if she wants more partners or not because my pride would be a lot less wounded and it would be much more fun for both of us. and to be clear, this isn't to center my needs "as a man"... i think it's really disappointing for a woman who is polysexual to be with a man who is monogamous, for example. in general it's not conducive to healthy connections on a greater scale and i always love your takes on this
