Its basically a function where y =2^x where x determines the day and y is the size of the lilly pad so at 48 days y is the size of a full lake which implies y=2^48 so half the lake would be 2^48 /2 which is 2^47 which means it takes 47 days

Just do the math. 2 to 48 power divided by 2. Then basic logarithm to find the day, it’s 47
