I agree, but I also disagree. If you know how to read charts, it really doesn’t matter if you’re trading on the four hour candle or the one minute candle because you already have a clear idea of where the market is going to go.

TBF, the insanely manipulated and volatile movement easily pushes you into scalping. Because the normal probabilities of what the candles will do when they hit S or D have gone out the window.

I think the industry gets in trouble when people make blanket statements. Not everyone who trades the 1-minute chart is glued to the screen all day, and not everyone on the 4-hour chart is profitable. The timeframe isn’t what makes someone successful having an edge, managing risk, and following a plan does.
