The U.S House of Representatives just quietly released its latest version of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) this past Tuesday, containing Section 224 — the “United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative.” This is the provision drawing significant attention. What It Would Do If enacted, Section 224 would create a level of U.S.-Israeli military integration deeper than the U.S. has with any other country in the world, including NATO allies. It was recently revealed in Congressional debate that Netanyahu had written a letter to the Republican Congressman from Texas, Ronny Jackson, who inserted this section with the language he should use.
