It’s great to hear about all of these breakthroughs, however, it would also be great to hear about those that are actually just being made available today

Doctor... ¿Does it work for all cancers? Because as you said, the problem with cancer is that there're so many types

you said Cas12a2 shreds the cell that have a broken p53 … what about cells that have broken p53 but are not mutating into cancerous cells….. I repeated this post several times to understand does a broken p53 immediately provoke the cancerous mutation or the cancerous mutation is happening and p53 that usually kills it is not doing its job so Cas12a2 will do it in there stead …the issue becomes Cas12a2 killing cancer cells and potential cancerous cells even though they did not mutate …which means it’s killing heathy cells in the process….what if along came a cancer patient with a vast amount of cells that are healthy yet have broken p53 along with the mutated cells that also has the broken p53 …wouldn’t Cas12a2 endanger his heathy cells/ organ / life ????

What about cells that are “precancerous” can this treatment be an option — specifically for LCIS

Ok, proceed with caution. For the uninitiated (like me), this sounds like a Pandora’s box.
