@glambycarly: as an esthetician I kinda felt defeated when my skin was having this sudden purge of painful under the skin pimples and PIH that was never making progress no matter what I tried. It got to the point where I was only managing, versus managing AND preventing. Maybe with time I would’ve been able to heal it all on my own but I haven’t seen something like this on myself since I was in high school so after trying EVERYTHING I had, I knew I had to see a dermatologist. As insecure as it made me, in the long run it helps me understand any future clients experience better than I did before. It happens and sometimes it’s okay to seek out help ! I’ll be on these products until August and then we may introduce tretinoin 👀 (all roads lead to Rome I guess).
